The Hidden Heroes of Lower Fairfield County: A conversation with sexual assault advocacy volunteers
On Thursday, December 8, join us for a special Cocktails and Conversation panel dedicated to the work of sexual violence advocates and the ways they support victims and survivors. Volunteer advocates from The Rowan Center, a sexual assault resource agency serving Lower Fairfield County, will share their experiences of advocating for survivors and will share ways individuals and services in our community can be survivor-centered. The audience will be able to ask questions about their experiences, as well as how to volunteer as a sexual assault advocate.
Arrive early to explore our current exhibition with complimentary access and to purchase a drink or cocktail of your choice.
The conversation will be moderated by Jorge Lopez-Martinez, MPA (Advocacy Manager for The Rowan Center)
